This class went through the basics of personal finances, managing your finances, how to save, create financial plans, etc. Throughout this course, I have learned the dos and don'ts of handling money, in terms of loans, investing, savings, planning etc. My number one take away from this class is to start saving for retirement now. The sooner you start saving/investing, the more money you'll have and the least amount of money you have to put in every month.
I am glad I took this course as I have already applied what I have learned in my own life. I have created personal financial plans and started investing in stocks and mutual funds. I have taken advantage of my works 401k plan by contributing the amount that they match. I think every student should take this course and take it early as our finances tend to control everything in our lives and learning how money works is one of the best tools one can utilize.
