At the beginning of this course, I expected it to be nothing more than a prerequisite to my other math classes that I need for my Bachelor’s in CS. After completing this course, I feel that it has broadened my skillset as a Software Developer. During this course, I learned about graphing functions and recognizing common functions by their formula or by the shape they make when graphed. I learned about system of equations as well as graphing 2-D sections of a 3-D shape. I learned about sequences and series and summing them. Finally I learned about factorials and the binomial theorem. All of which have included real life scenarios in which these are applicable.
